City Councilman Artie Jones, a 5th generation resident of St. Marys, GA knows better than anyone the needs of his friends and neighbors. A car breaking down can mean the loss of a job if there is no money to repair it. An unexpected illness can lead to mounting medical bills. Brief unemployment can mean getting behind on rent or mortgage, risking your very home. That is what Coastal Assistance Foundation has been set up to combat, those small reversals in life which can lead to a larger tragedy.
